This page below focuses on our "keeper" horses. :) All customs by me unless otherwise stated.

Cruisin' Bayou - 6 years - Appaloosa Sport Horse

Cruise is our up-and-coming star stallion. At 6 years old, he has just started his career in eventing. Cruise made it to the Regional level this year, and we are excited to see him continue to grow.

Sel De Marais - 12 years - Poitevin / Mulassier

Sel De Marais is a Poitevin, or Mulassier, draft stallion. He is our highest performing dressage horse. Ray, as he is affectionately called, started his competitive dressage career at 6 and was brought slowly up through the levels. He is 12 now and has become a reliable competitor at upper levels Regionally and Nationally.

Bar Y Under Fire - 6 years - Paint Horse

Under Fire is a sabino paint horse stallion. He has exceptional cow sense and agility, exceling in cutting, reining and working ranch horse disciplines. Under Fire occasionally moonlights as a member of our team roping and penning team.

I Killed Sirius Black - 5 years - Paint Pony

Sirius is another youngin' on the farm. At 5, he is enjoying his time in the hunter, hunter derby and equitation rings. Sirius has an inquisitive and willing personality, making him a treat to work with.

Ozark Golden Girl - 6 years - Missouri Fox Trotter

Goldie is my day-to-day trail partner, and we compete in both trail and endurance. She is a shy horse in the field, wary of both other horses and people, but bold as brass under saddle. Goldie has a quick mind and prioritzes safety in all things, observing her surroundings to determine the best course of action always.

Bombastic - 5 years - Arabian

We were hesitant to get into barrel racing, as it can be a controversial sport, but Bombastic was pretty clear with us about where she wanted to shine. For the sake of rounding out her need for speed, she also trains on endurance rides during the off season. Bombastic is a young horse, sensitive but a quick learner, and we're hopeful we can develop her into a successful barrel horse with a well-developed mind.

Riddle's Ink - 5 years - Sand Wash Basin Mustang (by WildWoodStudios)

Beam Me Up Scotty - Icelandic Horse

Scotty is the first foal we've brought in to develop. She showcases the traditional Icelandic gaits, and will hopefully be joining our breedcentric, gaited show team in a few years.

Ava's Light - 6 years - Missouri Fox Trotter

Mischief Managed - 8 years - National Show Horse

Mischief is our herd mentor, and in her downtime can often be found teaching Scotty the ways of a horse herd.

Champagne Stepping - 9 years - TWH

Bubbles is our Tennessee Walker stallion. He is high strung and sensitive, always trying his hardest... We're trying to help him learn that no one can be perfect all the time, and just doing his best is enough! Bubbles competes in gaited classes for his breed, as well as some trail classes to engage his mind a bit differently.

Alouette - 6 years

Alouette has a serious outlook and work ethic in the ring, while being easy going with a good sense of humor in the field. She is very sociable and friendly with people - Affectionate and almost a bit "in your pocket". With spectacular movement and her trusting personality, I'm so excited to see what we acheive together.

Kleurenstorm - 6 years - Friewalker

Kleurenstorm did not inherit extra gaits from his TWH side, and so is a member of our dressage team. At 6, he has just started taking his dressage career more seriously. Kleurenstorm has major presence in the ring, and we expect great things from him!

Bar Y High Noon - 4 years - Foundation QH

Nooner came to us primarily as a stud prospect. He is proven in cutting and penning under saddle and at liberty. We are very much looking forward to continuing his career - He's the calibre of horse one rarely gets to work with, let alone own!

Flare Factor - 7 years - Standardbred

Fancy is an off the track Standardbred, who is loving his new career as a ranch hand. Fancy competes in penning, western dressage and trail, and enjoys the occasional games day! Fancy is as safe as you can get, so often gets to tour house guests around the facility and surrounding trails.

Bar Y So Salty - 6 years - Appendix QH

Sage is our all-around western girl, doing her best work when surrounded by cows or sheep. She and Fancy are peas in a pod in the field. Sage is probably the fastest and smartest in our herd, and knows it, so is reserved for experienced riders only.

Soleia - 5 years - Morgan

Soleia is a more modern Morgan example, excelling in equitation and hunter classes. We recently learned she enjoys over fences work, when she took to jumping in and out of our dressage ring during some liberty time. We will be schooling her over fences through the winter, and look forward to seeing if this could be a new direction for her heading into next show season!

Warrigal Gawir - 11 years - Waler

Warrigal is an Australian Waler, imported to us from his home country, however a stifle injury dictated he retire from having a regular competition schedule. He is now my partner's horse, primarily enjoying quiet trail rides and dips in the river. They do get back into the ring for local fun days a couple of times a year, with a "slow and steady" attitude.

Acheron - 2 years - Connemara Pony

*Custom Pending*

Acheron is our wild and free baby, taking time to get socialized before he begins his career under saddle.

Sylphide Des Ondees - Percheron

Amira Gold - Morab

Daddy Said Shoot (Pinball) - Mustang

Cimmerian - Noriker
