Accessible Fasteners in Miniature Hobbies

One goal that's always the same when I make tack is this: How can I make that secure without fasteners? I know so many people who don't have the dexterity and / or grip strength for miniature fasteners to be usable, and I want my items to be as inclusive as possible.

Long on my list have been boots - elastic would work, but then you still need the motor control to get a tiny hoof into a tiny hole....

I'm feeling very optimistic about this next try! Having wire built in *should* allow for boots to just be "bent shut" and the felt should have enough grip to prevent sliding.... We'll see! 🤞🏻 Pictured is the start of transport boots, and a quarter sheet.
